Returns, Refunds & Order Policies

IMPORTANT: If you’ve emailed us and haven’t received a response, please check your spam folder. Occasionally our replies land there.

At Le Serey, every piece is thoughtfully designed and carefully packed in our studio. We want you to love your jewelry and feel confident shopping with us. Below you’ll find our return and order policies, which are in place to ensure fairness and consistency for all customers.

Returns

Start your Return

We accept returns on most items within 30 days of delivery, unless otherwise noted below.

Fine Jewelry

  • Made-to-order fine jewelry must be returned within 14 days of delivery.
  • Fine jewelry returned after 14 days will incur a 15% restocking fee.
  • Made-to-order fine jewelry is not eligible for return after 30 days.
  • Restocking fees are deducted from the refund amount.

All Other Jewelry

  • Eligible for return within 30 days of delivery.
  • A $6.95 return shipping fee will be deducted from your refund unless you selected Redo Free Returns & Exchanges at checkout.
  • International customers are responsible for the full return shipping cost, calculated at the time of return.

Return Eligibility

To be eligible for a return:

  • Items must be unworn, unused, and in original condition
  • Original packaging must be included
  • Proof of purchase is required

We kindly ask that you inspect your jewelry upon delivery and contact us within the return window if there are any concerns. Requests made after 30 days from delivery are not eligible for return or refund.

Our pieces are designed to be hypoallergenic and suitable for sensitive skin, and reactions are uncommon. Any concerns related to skin sensitivity must be reported within our 30-day return window to be eligible for return or exchange.

Due to the nature of personal wear items, we are unable to accept returns on items that have been worn against the skin for an extended period of time. Items showing signs of wear, use, or buildup are not eligible for return and will be returned to the customer at their expense.

How to Start a Return

Returns must be initiated through our returns portal. Items sent back without an approved return request will not be accepted.

Damages, Defects & Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order upon delivery.

If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us within 7 days of delivery so we can review the issue.

Important:
All damage, defect, or incorrect item claims must include:

  • Clear photos of the item(s)
  • Photos of the original packaging

Without this documentation, we are unable to offer a replacement, refund, or store credit.


Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Final sale items
  • Gift cards
  • Custom-stamped jewelry (including initial necklaces)

Orders purchased with a discount code (and not marked final sale) are still eligible for return under standard policy terms.


Exchanges

The fastest way to complete an exchange is to:

  1. Submit a return request through our customer portal and choose the exchange option.

International customers are responsible for full return shipping costs.

Exchanges requested outside the return window are not guaranteed and are reviewed at our discretion.


Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, you’ll be notified of the refund status.

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method, minus:

  • $6.95 return shipping fee (unless Redo was selected)
  • Any applicable restocking fees

Please allow time for your bank or credit card provider to process the refund.


Promotional & Discounted Orders

Returns involving promotions, bulk discounts, or free shipping are recalculated after the return is processed.

If a return causes the order to fall below the qualifying threshold:

  • The value of the promotion (including free shipping) is reversed
  • Refunds reflect the regular (non-discounted) price of remaining items
  • Customers are responsible for any resulting balance due

All returns must meet standard eligibility requirements.


Discount Codes

  • Discount codes are not stackable
  • Only one discount may be applied per order
  • Discounts cannot be added or adjusted after an order is placed

Refused Packages / Return to Sender

Packages refused upon delivery or returned to sender are treated as returns. Applicable return shipping fees will be deducted from the refund. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.


Incorrect Address

Please carefully review your shipping address at checkout. Le Serey is not responsible for packages delivered to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer.

If you notice an error after placing your order, contact us immediately. While we’ll do our best to help, address changes cannot be guaranteed once an order is processed or shipped.


International Customs & Duties

Customs duties, taxes, and import fees are the responsibility of the customer and are determined by the destination country.

Le Serey does not collect or cover these fees at checkout. If customs fees are unpaid and a package is refused or abandoned, refunds will only be issued if the package is successfully returned to our studio.

Original shipping fees are non-refundable.


Lost, Stolen, or Delayed Shipments

Once a package leaves our studio, delivery is handled by the shipping carrier.

  • Le Serey is not responsible for packages marked as delivered
  • For stolen packages, we recommend filing a police report and ensuring a secure delivery location
  • If a package is confirmed lost in transit by the carrier, we’re happy to send a replacement
